Jess Love

Jess Love (they/them) is an internationally renowned circus warhorse, theatre maker, trouble shooter, award-winning director and all-round rat bag. With over 20 years of touring the worlds theatres and festivals, Jess is back in Naarm to make their Malthouse Theatre debut in Fuck Christmas. They’ve won a myriad of awards in both theatre and circus and held the Australian title in 2023/23 for Olympic weightlifting. Their most recent achievement is surviving a 2-year hiatus from life after a spectacularly monumental nervous breakdown, chronic fatigue and PTSD. Jess is beyond excited to be back on the stage, where they belong.
