Katerina Stathis

Katerina Stathis (she/her) is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. Her synthesiser sound palate draws from her extensive interest and appreciation for acoustic instrumental timbres combined with highly visceral electronic evocations.
Katerina participated in the 2026 Malthouse Artist Development Program (Composition & Sound Design)
Other: Recent solo works include OPUS MESS (Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio); ECDYSIS: A WORK FOR SOLO MODULAR SYNTHESISER (Tangles: New Modular Music) and various collaborations with Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio (MESS), Robin Fox, Lucy Guerin, Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey.
Katerina is one third of the composer collective STATHIS/DAVEY/KIM and one sixth of the electro acoustic ensemble Golden Sands.
