Rising Fish Prayer

New Writing Theatre World Premiere

Set in a fictitious Papua New Guinea gold mine. A play about love, patriotism, cruelty and sacrifice, a fast moving, semi-absurdist exploration of cultural contrasts and compassion.

Winner of the 1997 Asialink Playwriting Award, this is a thrilling tale of the dangers of mining in a third world country.

This production also toured to Sydney's Glen Street Theatre(22-31 October).
