Playwright Tobsha Learner has woven an ancient fairytale through a story of modern life to anatomise the compulsive sexual philanderer.
Daniel Lupus makes love to dozens of women yet never finds out what it is to love. His priapic career spans the 1960s, '70s and '80s, three decades of failing to learn that his compulsion is not only callous but ultimately self-destructive.
