Beyond Therapy

Writing in the programme's Director's Notes, Ken Campbell-Dobbie commented:

"In a nation where a weekly session with one's therapist is the exception, rather than the rule, it may seem odd to mount a production that satirizes the problems inherent in therapy. Like all good comedy, the laughter and extravagant situations have a very firm basis in reality. Christopher Durang's humour may seem excessive, almost farcical, bit it arises from a meticulous examination of the choices we have in life, and the absurd situations in which those choices often place us."
