Theatre - Spoken Word
A tongue-in-cheek statement about people on both sides of the artistic fence. William Dobson (Robin Cuming) is an ageing and fondly-remembered revolutionary poet of the First World War. He is rescued from the sea by Rosie (Gerda Nicolson), an academic writing a paper on Swinburne, and her sister Daphne (Helen Tripp). The accident is caused by Malcolm Shillinglaw (Peter Paulsen), the Minister for the Arts, who narrowly avoids killing Dobson with the propellor of his launch while entertaining overseas guests on Sydney's Pittwater.
