New Writing Theatre World Premiere

Looks at the experience of the Second World War on one Australian family. On the day of the lunar landing in 1969, Frank's estranged daughter turns up wanting to know about the past. A war veteran living in Melbourne, Frank's memory is triggered by some old snapshots and, as he remembers, the characters come back to life. Old hopes and bitter recriminations interact as Frank tells of pre-war family life and post-war alienation recalling a past that holds both painful memories and cherished secrets.
