Inspired by the paintings of surrealist Paul Delvaux, Jenny Kemp's play investigates the present, past and possible future of one woman, represented on stage by four women
A woman leaves her children for an evening to go to a nightclub. In a moment of indecision she glances back, slips and falls. Money, desire and dreams converge as she enters a surreal world of haunting colours and lyrical distortions.
First performed as part of the Adelaide Festival (5-10 March). Later toured to Canberra (10-13 April).
