Steven Saken made his first million by the age of twenty-one; he is diagnosed with a mysterious illness; a young policewoman is driven to solve the savage murder of a Muslim woman in Toorak; and two convicts from the First Fleet set out to stake a claim. The audience is swept back and forward in time as the three narratives drive to a thrilling conclusion.
