Robert Tinning

Robert Alejandro Tinning is an Ecuadorian-Australian dancer and choreographer. He brings to the stage a performance practice informed by lifelong intercultural immersion. His creative bases are the Byron/Tweed region and Melbourne/Naarm. . His interdisciplinary practice has been shaped by international research and collaboration, including work with US artist Don Lambert and Cuban-American performance artist and former Jiří Kylián dancer, Lázaro Godoy.

Other Dance: MANIFESTO, THE CHRONICLES and AUTO CANNIBAL (Stephanie Lake Company); and various works with Chunky Move, Tasdance, Jukstapoz, STRUT Dance, Gabrielle Nankivell and Liesel Zink. As Choreographer: Various works with WA’s DLGSC, Tasdance, Ausdance NSW, Deering Estate (Miami, FL), Fountainhead Studios (Miami, FL), Lismore Regional Art Gallery and Mad Dance House.
