Tense Dave can be seen as one man's moment of crisis blown apart like an exploded diagram; each of its components are separated and pushed out to their extremes.Dave takes a journey distorted by fears, paranoia and unfulfilled fantasies.
Tense Dave's initial assault on the world culminated in 2005 when it was awarded a Bessie for Outstanding Choreography / Creation during its New York season. It was a smash hit for the 2003 Melbourne international Arts Festival and subsequently toured throughout Australia and the United States.
