Nicci Wilks (she/her) is a freelance artist continually creating works of various art forms, touring her work around the world for over 40 years, performing in 14 languages from the Pitjantjatjara lands to 42nd St. Nicci has made work with Malthouse Theatre, Circus Oz, Melbourne Theatre Company, MSO, KAGE, CIRCA, Melbourne Workers Theatre, Hothouse Theatre, Legs On The Wall, Company 2… and various artistes from across the globe. Malthouse Theatre credits include Caravan (with Melbourne International Arts Festival) and normal.suburban.planetary.meltdown. Nicci has co-created, produced and performed in many award-winning and highly acclaimed shows including SHIT, The Long Pigs, RUNT, ANIMAL, Tale of Two Harpies, Rodeo Clown, BAD BOY and The Teensy Top (she wears the venue!). Screen credits include SHIT and award-winning short film Tarneit. She directed the award-winning dark comic circus show Party Ghost and Circus Oz Non-Stop. She is the recipient of 4 Greenroom Awards. She is currently conspiring with other artists to bring live performance to the people. It’s not all popcorn and fizzy drinks but it’s worth it.
