Having grown up around performers, Eva Rees (she/her) is no stranger to the stage or screen.  She originated the now iconic role of Harry Potter’s son, Albus in the Australian premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and is perhaps best known for the ABC’s hit teen series Nowhere Boys and its sequel film, Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows.

Malthouse Theatre credits include Truth and Hour of the Wolf. Other theatre credits include Things I Know to Be True (Theatre Works), Fury, The Flock and the Nest (Red Stitch) and The Places You’ll Go (Lama Theatre Company). Other television credits include Utopia, The Secret River, Killing Time, OOSH,  Rush, Surprise Surprise Gotcha and Kath & Kim. Film credits include My Year Without Sex and Jindabyne.

Eva is also a playwright, with works staged at Melbourne’s fortyfivedownstairs. Her piece, Djuna, will be presented by Darebin Arts Speakeasy in March 2025.  Eva has also voiced radio and commercial campaigns for some of Australia’s leading brands.
