Anna Louey (she/her) is a Chinese-Australian actor, theatre maker and educator based in Naarm. She is particularly interested in creating theatre with a political and social impact, and has been a member of popular Melbourne theatre ensemble, Bloomshed since 2020.
For Malthouse Theatre, she has appeared in PRIDE & PREJUDICE. Other theatre credits include PARADISE LOST, A DODGEBALL NAMED DESIRE and ANIMAL FARM (Bloomshed) and THE WORLD ACCORDING TO DINOSAURS, PIPER and MOTHERLOD_^E (Frenzy Theatre Co.).
Outside of performing, Anna works in education, supporting schools with refugee background students and delivering anti-racism programs. She is also a long-distance runner and qualified for the Chicago Marathon, which she will compete in later this year.
